When it comes to getting chicken feed and additives, and can be somewhat confusing. At K & M we are dedicated to helping you with selecting the right feed for your poultry. From complete feeds, to scratch grains, we are here to help.

For layers:
1. Start your chickens off right, feed them a medicated starter/grower for 18-20 weeks. This is a crumble to prevent diseases and help chicks grow to their full potential.

2. After 18-20 weeks feed your chickens layer feed. This is available in crumble or pellets and helps support a healthy lifestyle and shell.

3. Provide fresh water daily and keep the chickens area clean!

4. At 8 weeks start feeding grit, available in small and large rock, to aid in digestion. Feed free choice.

5. At 18 weeks start feeding oyster shells to provide calcium for a strong shell. Feed free choice.

For Broilers:
1. Feed a starter/grower for up to 4 weeks or feed a meat bird medicated feed from day one to finish.

2. Feed a meat bird after 4 weeks to provide extra protein to make larger poultry.

3. Provide fresh water daily and keep the chickens area clean!

4. At 8 weeks start feeding grit, available in small and large rock, to aid in digestion. Feed free choice.

For Ducks/Fowl:
1. Feed either a NON-MEDICATED meat bird or a game-bird grower from day one to finish.

2. Provide fresh water daily and keep the chickens area clean!
